Early, light, and exceptional is how the 2015 growing season will be remembered. After three near-perfect yet drought riddled years, 2015 was challenging and inconsistent. Significant rain during February and Apri lencouraged vines to thrive despite drought conditions, yet also created a smaller fruit set.With warm weather in late spring and summer, the reduced crop size of small berries became concentrated and fragrant. Warm temperatures in August and September led to one of the earliest harvests on record, with the reward of low yields and high quality.Winemaker Notes
